SEN Teaching Assistant role - Mainstream Primary School, Harrow, Full time

Magisters Education are working with a wonderful mainstream primary school in Harrow, HA1 who are actively looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant on a long term, full time basis from January. You will be supporting a Year 3 child with autism on a 1:1 basis.

Location: Harrow, HA1

Start Date: January 2026

Role: SEN Teaching Assistant – supporting a child on 1:1 basis with autism

Contract: Full-time, 5 days per week (until July 2026 initially, potential permanent from September 2026)

Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm

Salary: £110-£120 per day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a child with special educational needs to access learning and engage in classroom activities.
  • Adapt tasks, resources, and instructions to suit individual learning needs.
  • Reinforce learning through guided practice, repetition, and positive encouragement.
