Contract: Full-time, ongoing

Pay: £110 - £120 Per day

Hours:

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:30am – 3.55pm
  • Friday: 8:30am – 12:30pm

We are working with a warm and supportive primary school in Edgware HA8 who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 pupil with ASD on a 1:1 basis. This is a rewarding full‑time role ideal for someone patient, proactive, and experienced in supporting children with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil with ASD
  • Assist with academic, social, and emotional development
  • Implement strategies to support engagement, regulation, and independence
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO
  • Create a calm, structured and supportive learning space
  • Support the pupil’s individual learning plan and intervention targets

About You:

  • Experience supporting pupils with ASD or SEN
  • Calm, patient, and consistent in approach
  • Able to follow and adapt strategies to meet individual needs
  • Confident working 1:1 with upper KS2 pupils
  • Reliable, nurturing, and available full-time
