SEN Teaching Assistant - 1 year contract, full time - Maintream Primary School, Brent* We are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Brent NW10, who are seeking a strong Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. You will be supporting pupils with additional needs in a small group setting (currently six pupils) in KS1 with autism. *PAID TRIAL AVAILABLE ASAP* Location: NW10 (Nearest stations Harlesden/Stonebridge Park) Start Date: ASAP Role: SEN Teaching Assistant Contract: Full‑time, long‑term for ONE YEAR INITIALLY Hours: 8:30-3:30pm Monday - Friday Pay: £110-£125 per day The Role: * Provide support for a group of children in KS1 with autism * Support communication, behaviour, and engagement * Implement strategies to support regulation and learning * Work closely with the class teacher and SEN team * Maintain a consistent, calm, and structured approach * Use initiative to engage pupils in a range of activities linked to their individual targets (these are set by class teacher/SENCo) * Work as part of a team About You: * Experience supporting pupils in KS1 with autism * Confident supporting pupils working below age-related expectations * Strong behaviour management and communication support skills * Able to commit to a long‑term role Benefits * Long term, full time opportunity * Excellent ransport links * Friendly, supportive team
