Come and join the Magil Construction team! We are currently accepting applications for an experienced Site Superintendent in London, ON and surrounding area!

Reporting to the Director of Field Operations, the Superintendent is responsible for providing overall on-site management, administrative direction and technical direction on project construction. This position is also responsible for enforcing Company and project policies while ensuring the project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.

  • Be the "go to" person for all site employees and subcontractors
  • Plan, coordinate and monitor performance to ensure the best quality and maintain project timelines
  • Champion of on-site workplace safety
  • Communicate all delays, issues and updates to the management team
  • Take the lead on productivity issues and monitor work performance and efficiency of employees and subcontractors to ensure project plans and schedules are followed

Requirements:

  • 5 - 10 years of site supervision experience (or similar)
  • Technical trade diploma
  • Knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineer drawings and other documents
  • Sense of responsibility, initiative and accountability
  • Excellent communication skills and a "get 'er done" attitude
  • Ability to travel a must
