Assist with daily retail operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Examine patients' eyes to identify injuries, diseases, and vision defects.
  • Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment, including slit-lamp bio-microscopy, fundus cameras, and optical coherence tomography.
  • Provide clear explanations of examination results to patients and offer guidance on vision-related issues.
  • Recommend suitable optical aids based on assessments and individual needs.
  • Refer patients to ophthalmologists when eye conditions require specialized care.
  • Educate first-time contact lens wearers on proper handling techniques.
  • Manage inventory of contact lenses, trial lenses, and related solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and adjust spectacle fittings and ophthalmic lenses.
  • Maintain accurate records of patients' eye health and purchase history.
  • Ensure all equipment and measuring tools are operational and well-maintained.
  • Supervise and support the training of junior optometrists and opticians.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.
