We’re currently hiring a Preschool Teacher at our Wakefield location. As part of our childcare team, you’ll create a warm and engaging environment where preschoolers can explore, learn, and grow. You’ll be responsible for planning and leading fun, educational activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development—helping children build the foundation for a lifelong love of learning in a supportive Preschool Classroom.
Preschool Teacher – What You\’ll Do
- Lead a preschool classroom for children ages 2.9 to 5 years using a hands-on, developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Promote kindergarten readiness through early literacy, numeracy, science, and social-emotional learning
- Design creative lessons that support cognitive, physical, and emotional development
- Foster positive peer relationships and model respectful communication
- Conduct ongoing observations and communicate children’s progress to families
What We\’re Looking For
- EEC Preschool Teacher Certification (Required)
- Previous teaching experience in a preschool, pre-K, or early childhood education setting
- Knowledge of curriculum planning, classroom management, and school readiness standards
- CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain
- Enthusiasm for play-based learning and creating joyful classroom experiences
