You\’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Massachusetts EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification (Required)
  • Experience working with infants (6 weeks to 15 months) in a licensed early childhood program or child care center
  • A warm, responsive caregiving style and understanding of infant development
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire)

Some requirements of the role include:

  • Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift within the operating hours of the school, including opening and closing shifts
  • Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday
  • Attentiveness, strong time management, and a team-focused mindset

As an Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Provide individualized, nurturing care to infants in a licensed child care setting
  • Support early developmental milestones through tummy time, sensory play, cuddles, and structured routines
  • Ensure a safe and clean classroom environment by following best practices for diapering, feeding, and safe sleep
  • Build trusting relationships with families by maintaining open and ongoing communication about each child’s growth
