Architectural Technician

The Role: As an Architectural Technician, you will be an integral part of the design process, translating conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings and specifications. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing detailed architectural drawings and construction documents.
• Coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project.
• Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations and codes.
• Resolving technical issues and providing solutions to design challenges.
• Managing project timelines and ensuring deliverables are met on schedule.
• Utilizing the latest CAD and BIM software to produce high-quality drawings and models.

To qualify for this Architectural Technician role:

• A diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Architectural Technician.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and a solid understanding of BIM processes.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
