DescriptionAs Individual Giving Officer, you will plan and deliver compelling campaigns to engage with and drive action from existing supporters.

Responsibilities
Plan and deliver compelling activity to engage with, and drive action from existing supporters through direct mail appeals, digital and telephone activity.
To project manage multi-channel direct marketing campaigns from pre-campaign insight and briefing, through to delivery, optimisation, and post-campaign review.
Support the development, implementation and optimisation of sector leading journeys to retain and develop existing cash and regular giving supporters.
Collaborate with and supervise external agencies and suppliers to deliver excellent work, on time and to budget.
Review live metrics and make recommendations, continuously testing and learning to optimise campaigns.
Proactively identify new ways to engage supporters and grow income from Individual Giving.
Monitor market trends, undertake competitor analysis and keep up-to-date with sector developments.
Develop strong, effective working relationships with key internal teams to deliver existing activity and identify new opportunities.
Feed into expenditure management and KPI reporting processes, maintaining detailed budget records and income and expenditure accounts to ensure cost effectiveness.
Work with your team to champion Individual Giving fundraising across the charity and provide support on it to centre colleagues across the UK.
Skills, knowledge and expertise
An experienced charity fundraiser who puts the supporter at the heart of what they do.
A driven individual with a proven track record in delivering successful Individual Giving retention campaigns to meet objectives, including cash appeals, upgrade and re-activation.
Proven experience of a range of direct marketing channels, including direct mail, email & telephone.
Proven experience with both standard and mid-value audiences.
Individual Giving product-specific knowledge, including cash and regular giving.
An engaging person who can nurture excellent working relationships across the organisation
Highly numerate with experience of using insight to inform evidence-based decision making and meet targets.
Solid understanding of the basic principles of charity financial policies, the Institute of Fundraising guidelines and data protection regulations.
Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills, with proven experience of successfully prioritising between several projects.
Brilliant creative judgement to engage, inspire and drive people to act.
High level of attention to detail on written copy and financial figures.
Experience of supervising and getting the best from external agencies and suppliers.
Excellent personal communication skills.
