How you’ll make an impact: This role will lead the strategy development and implementation of the first formalised learning and organisational development (OD) offering for Magentus. Working in consultation with the P&C team and business leaders, the Learning and OD Lead will build and deliver a multi-year program of fit-for-purpose learning and OD solutions that support the cultural transformation of Magentus and the growth and engagement of our people.

What you’ll do:
- Lead the development and delivery of the learning and development program for Magentus.
- Identify our organisational learning requirements, focusing on building capability across different layers of leadership.
- Create and deliver team-building programs with a focus on building high-performing teams.
- Lead the design and roll-out of an organizational competency and capability framework to underpin talent development initiatives and support career pathways.
- Create and implement impactful culture initiatives that will enhance Magentus as a values-led, people-first business.
- Partner with the Heads of People to lead the bi-annual team engagement survey process, identify engagement hot spots, and develop strategies to address these in collaboration with the P&C team and business leaders.
- Support the foundational build of a DEI strategy and initiatives to support progress towards key goals.
What you’ll bring with you:
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.

- A proactive attitude to work in a lean team without extensive supporting technology infrastructure.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills, along with stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and independently as needed.

What your background and experience look like:
- Extensive experience in learning, leadership development, and organisational development in both mature and scale-up businesses.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering fit-for-purpose leadership development programs.
- Experience leading businesses through transformational change.
- Tertiary qualifications in human resources or a relevant area.
- Supporting qualifications in adult learning, leadership development, or instructional design.
- Exposure to various HR technologies with the ability to contribute to future investment recommendations.
