Magenta Recruitment are looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join a growing business based out of our clients Rochester, Kent office. This role will cover all areas of the South East of England with the odd job going nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct ACoP L8 HSG274 part 2 compliance related work
  • Servicing of thermostatic mixing valves (including failsafe testing)
  • Showerhead descaling
  • Cleaning & disinfection of cold water storage tanks
  • Cold water storage tank inspection
  • Water quality sampling (Legionella and TVC)

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years experience in the water hygiene industry
  • Successful completion of WMSoC/City & Guilds (or similar recognised qualification) training in Legionella awareness and Legionella in hot and cold water systems
  • Experience in using ZetaSafe software is preferred
  • Building effective relationships with on-site clients
  • Excellent organisation and time keeping skills, capable of working to deadlines
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • A full clean driving licence is required
  • You will be required to travel nationwide, with the need for an occasional overnight stay
  • Due to the nature of some of our clients, a DBS check will be conducted on all of our new starters.
