We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trader with basic plumbing skills to work on social housing properties across the Ipswich area and surrounding towns. This is a great opportunity to secure consistent, long-term work with a well-established contractor delivering planned and reactive maintenance works.
The Role
Working across occupied properties, you’ll be responsible for completing a variety of maintenance and refurbishment tasks, primarily focused on flooring and basic plumbing works.
Key Responsibilities
- Uplifting existing vinyl flooring and preparing subfloors
- Applying latex/smoothing compounds
- Removal and refitting of toilets and basins
- Removal and refitting of radiators
- Carrying out general multi-trade duties as required
- Working efficiently within occupied social housing properties
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Multi Trader (with plumbing bias)
- Ability to carry out basic plumbing works independently
- CSCS card (essential)
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
- Own tools and full PPE
- Good communication skills and a professional approach when working in tenants’ homes
Additional Info
- 8-hour days, Monday to Friday
- DBS check and Asbestos Awareness certification will be required.
- Ongoing, steady work across multiple local sites
