The Role – Site Supervisor
As a Site Supervisor, you will support the effective delivery of Planned Works or Repairs & Maintenance (R&M) contracts. You’ll ensure work is completed safely, on time, to specification and with minimal disruption to residents. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong communication, organisation and people‑management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Delivery
- Support day‑to‑day management of Planned Works or R&M contracts.
- Plan, programme and coordinate operatives and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure works are completed to specification, on time and to a high standard.
- Monitor contract progress and ensure all KPIs are achieved.
- Client & Resident Engagement
- Build strong working relationships with client representatives and resident groups.
- Work collaboratively to exceed operational and business expectations.
- Ensure minimal disruption to residents throughout works.
- Team Leadership
- Motivate and manage operatives, subcontractors, administrators and Resident Liaison Officers.
- Support recruitment, retention, training and development of staff.
- Promote a strong safety culture across the team.
- Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Monitor quality, safety and environmental standards.
- Ensure all works comply with company procedures and contract requirements.
- Prepare snagging lists and ensure timely completion.
- Financial & Contract Management
- Monitor financial performance and report on profitability.
- Ensure variation sheets are completed and signed by the client.
- Maintain accurate reports on contract progress and performance.
- Manage resources effectively to meet contractual obligations.
- Systems & Reporting
- Maintain management systems and ensure targets are achieved.
- Produce regular reports on performance, progress and compliance.
- Support sustainability and environmental initiatives.
