About The Role
Join Magenta Living as our PR & External Affairs Lead and play a key role in shaping how we are seen and understood across Wirral, the Liverpool City Region and beyond.
You'll lead our media, PR and stakeholder engagement activity, bringing our stories to life and building trust through impactful communications that showcase the difference we make to customers, colleagues and communities.
You'll work closely with senior leaders, providing expert advice on reputational issues, managing media relationships, and helping position Magenta as an influential and trusted voice within the housing sector.
Responsibilities
- Lead media, PR and stakeholder engagement activities to build trust and showcase the impact of Magenta on customers, colleagues and communities.
- Work closely with senior leaders to provide expert advice on reputational issues and support strategic communication plans.
- Manage media relationships and respond to media inquiries.
- Help position Magenta as a trusted voice in the housing sector and influence positive conversations about communities.
Qualifications
- Experienced communications professional with a strong background in PR, media relations and reputation management.
- Confident storyteller with excellent writing skills, able to build trusted relationships with stakeholders, partners and the media.
- Experience managing sensitive communications and developing strategic communication plans.
- Experience within social housing, public affairs or place based regeneration activity is advantageous.
- Experience working with senior leaders.
