We are recruiting experienced Multi Traders to join a fast-paced, reputable contractor specialising in social housing refurbishments. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled tradespeople seeking consistent work. Projects are located between Felixstowe, Lowestoft & Thetford. Someone based around Stowmarket is preferred as the centre of all work locations.
Key Responsibilities- Kitchen maintenance work within occupied social housing properties.
- Replacing kitchen worktops and cabinets, damp proofing, changing taps and other snagging works.
- Maintain a professional and respectful approach when working in tenants’ homes.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety requirements.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, tenants and site teams.
- Manage your own workload to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience as a Multi-Trade/Carpenter and basic Plumbing.
- Ability to work quickly without compromising quality.
- Own tools.
- Own vehicle (Van).
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily schedules.
- Experience working in social housing or occupied properties.
- Ongoing, long-term work.
- 8-hour working days with consistent workflow.
- Supportive contractor with steady project pipelines.
