Site Manager - Commercial Fit Out
π Hereford π Start Date: 1st September β³ Duration: 12 Weeks π° Rate: Β£280 - Β£320 per day (depending on experience) π’ Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm
We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a commercial fit-out project in Hereford.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day construction activities on site.
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and site safety procedures.
- Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks.
- Review and implement RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements).
- Carry out regular safety inspections and audits.
- Enforce PPE requirements and safe working practices.
- Coordinate subcontractor start dates and project activities.
- Monitor progress against the construction programme.
- Manage quality control and snagging throughout the project.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, landlords and building managers.
- Attend and lead progress and coordination meetings.

- Previous commercial fit-out experience preferred
- Strong subcontractor management and communication skills
