Magenta Recruitment are looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join a growing business based out of our clients Rochester, Kent office. This role will cover all areas of the South East of England with the odd job going nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct ACoP L8 HSG274 part 2 compliance related work
- Servicing of thermostatic mixing valves (including failsafe testing)
- Showerhead descaling
- Cleaning & disinfection of cold water storage tanks
- Cold water storage tank inspection
- Water quality sampling (Legionella and TVC)
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year experience in the water hygiene industry
- Successful completion of WMSoC/City & Guilds (or similar recognised qualification) training in Legionella awareness and Legionella in hot and cold water systems
- Experience in using ZetaSafe software is preferred
- Building effective relationships with on-site clients
- Excellent organisation and time keeping skills, capable of working to deadlines
- Clear and confident communication skills
- A full clean driving license is required
- You will be required to travel nationwide, with the need for an occasional overnight stay
- Due to the nature of some of our clients, a DBS check will be conducted on all of our new starters.
