Job responsibilities
Reporting to the Registered Manager, Support Workers at Magenta Domiciliary Care Services provide person-centred care to individuals in their own homes and within the community. Working to a daily rota, you will help customers live as independently as possible, in line with their care plans and daily requirements.
- Deliver personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and medication prompts.
- Support customers to access the community, attend social activities, and engage in leisure opportunities.
- Assist with household tasks such as meal preparation and light domestic duties.
- Book and/or attend appointments with customers, ensuring access to health and social services.
- Communicate with external agencies - where appropriate (e.g. local authority, Department for Work and Pensions) on behalf of customers.
- Liaise with family members or next of kin where appropriate.
- Identify and report safeguarding concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records in line with company policies and CQC standards.
- Work independently, travelling between customer addresses and community locations.
