This position provides personal financial services at military installations, including counseling, education, and referral services for service members and their families. Responsibilities include:
- Providing financial counseling and management services.
- Assisting with spending plans for absences.
- Developing informational materials.
- Coordinating financial classes and workshops.
- Utilizing virtual counseling modes.
- Managing duty to warn situations per DoD protocol.
- Communicating with leadership and participating in supervision and training.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Other Job Requirements:
- Bachelor\’s degree required; consideration for applicants with an associate degree plus 4 years\’ experience or a high school diploma plus 6 years\’ experience.
- 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
- Fluency in English; bilingual in English and Spanish if required.
- Ability to obtain a Tier 2 investigation.
- Certifications: AFC, CFP, or ChFC.
