To perform all aspects of visual and dimensional inspection of Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 engine components to achieve the performance targets and quality standards required in order to maximise customer satisfaction and maintain competitive advantage.
Support the Inspection Team Leader and deputise where required in managing day to day activities.
The role will ensure a safe working environment for both people and product as well as setting and achieving targets, driving continuous improvement and ensuring right first time.
The Senior Inspector will be a subject matter expert and go-to person within the team whilst assisting with training and development.

Essential Responsibilities
- Competent in all aspects of inspection activities
- Receipt inspection of components sourced from external sources
- Engine component release to service (Form 1/8130)
- Deputise for the Inspection Team Leader to manage the team day to day and ensure priorities are aligned with the business needs, performance levels are maintained and objectives delivered
- Actively support the development of the Inspection team through ongoing training and the sharing of knowledge ensuring competence assessments are completed in a timely manner and documented accordingly
- Oversee the completion of required activities within the team including but not limited to:
- daily, weekly, monthly control checks
- consumable requisitions
- equipment calibration
- Work with the Inspection team to lead efforts to identify opportunities for improvement to streamline processes and working practices and decrease overall booked hours
- Develop and implement / lead CI projects to increase utilisation and remove waste with the support of the compliance/engineering team
- Communicate effectively across the site ensuring that where required, the correct escalation process is adopted
- Maintaining a cost-conscious focus with regards to hours booked, consumables and waste
- Keep abreast of new emerging technologies and be pivotal in the implementation of the future business strategy for inspection department
- Drive positive working relationships and open communications within and across functional teams to facilitate effective team working
- Ensure compliance with Euravia's Quality Systems
- Maintain the highest 6S standard
- Ensure compliance with H & S requirements and liaise with H&S manager as necessary
- Completion of any other reasonable tasks as designated by your Line Manager

Essential Criteria
- Good level of education
- Minimum of 3 years of aerospace experience (MRO preferable)
