Euravia Engineering & Supply Co Ltd, a part of Magellan Aerospace, has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager. This is a full-time permanent position with weekdays from Monday to Friday, totalling 37.5 hours per week. The job location is Colne Road, Kelbrook, Lancashire BB18 6SN, and travel is required.
The role involves expanding Euravia’s PT6 (turbo prop and turbo shaft engines) and RR250 customer base by increasing customer awareness of Euravia, maintaining profitable and productive engine programme growth in accordance with Euravia’s Strategic Business Plan, and building strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.

- Support the General Manager and wider management team to establish, implement and manage operational plans and objectives.
- Develop new market opportunities through customer market research, project planning, budgeting, structured marketing communications, project implementation, and cost management.
- Target market and customer segments to optimise revenue and profit growth.
- Maintain close customer relationships and act as the main point of contact for potential and existing customers.
- Address new customer requirements and expectations in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with Customer Services Department for cost estimates and identify new opportunities.
- Establish and manage overseas Agents and Partners.
- Regularly interact with management to ensure clear and professional feedback to customers.
- Achieve relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and recommend necessary actions for optimum results.
- Provide Out of Hours Emergency Cover as required.
- Perform any other reasonable duties in support of business needs.
- Essential Criteria: GCSE or equivalent including Maths & English; good verbal and written communication; availability for overseas travel; Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience; strong knowledge of the aero engine MRO industry.
- Desirable Experience: Experience in the PT6 and RR250 aero engine MRO sector preferred; minimum of 5 years of direct sales/customer service experience; minimum of 3 years of business development/management experience.
