Role description

This is a strategic and hands-on role sitting across content marketing, audience engagement, congress activity, campaign delivery, and commercial promotion. We are looking for someone who can translate complex scientific and clinical topics into engaging audience-focused campaigns and experiences that help healthcare professionals discover, consume, and engage with our educational content. The successful candidate will work closely with editorial, commercial, production, and leadership teams to help drive audience growth, supporter visibility, registrations, engagement, and strategic campaign performance across multiple channels and formats. This role would suit someone with experience in healthcare marketing, scientific communications or digital publishing who excels in managing campaigns, collaborating cross-functionally, and delivering high-quality audience engagement initiatives in fast-moving environments.

What you'll do:

  • Content marketing and campaign delivery
    • Develop and deliver integrated digital campaigns around major congresses, educational initiatives, webinars and scientific programmes
    • Translate complex scientific and clinical topics into engaging audience-focused content strategies
    • Support promotion across web, email, social, video, and digital platforms
    • Develop scalable content programmes that maximise the lifespan and reach of scientific insights across formats and channels
    • Manage campaign and content calendars aligned to strategic objectives and scientific milestones
  • Audience growth and commercial marketing
    • Support audience growth initiatives across publishing and commercial programmes
    • Collaborate with commercial teams to improve campaign performance, supporter visibility and audience engagement
    • Support lead generation, registration, and engagement strategies across multiple audience touch points
    • Help optimise audience journeys and lifecycle communications for HCP audiences
    • Support promotion and positioning of educational programmes, workshops, webinars, and partnerships
  • Congress and event engagement
    • Represent the company at major international medical congresses and industry events
    • Support the planning, coordination, and on-site management of journal exhibition booths and audience engagement activities
    • Coordinate live content promotion, campaign execution, and on-site marketing initiatives during congresses
    • Engage with healthcare professionals, faculty, industry stakeholders, and partners during live events
    • Work closely with editorial, production, and commercial teams to maximise post-event engagement opportunities
    • Gather audience insight and feedback from congress interactions to inform future marketing and content strategy
  • Innovation and engagement optimisation
    • Test and iterate new audience engagement approaches, campaign formats and content strategies
    • Explore AI-enabled tools and automation opportunities across marketing and campaign workflows
    • Contribute to scalable audience engagement and digital marketing initiatives
    • Identify opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness, engagement, and measurable educational impact

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret audience data, campaign performance, and engagement metrics, and to translate insights into actionable marketing improvements
  • Proficiency in project and programme management to plan, prioritise, and deliver multiple content and marketing initiatives on time and within scope
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific and clinical concepts clearly for diverse professional audiences
  • Experience in partnering with subject matter experts, clinicians and internal teams to shape content and engagement strategies
  • Background in scientific, medical, or healthcare communications (e.g., degree in life sciences or related field, or equivalent experience) and familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms
  • Demonstrated experience in content marketing, audience engagement, or medical publishing, ideally within healthcare professional or scientific communities
  • Experience supporting international congresses, events, webinars or educational programmes
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced editorial and events environment
  • Exposure to CRM or marketing automation platforms
  • Interest in AI-enabled marketing and content workflows
