Job Description
MAGDALEN COLLEGEOXFORDHR ASSISTANT (Academics) Part time 8 month contract (Maternity Cover)(Reference Number: HR25001)Magdalen College is seeking to recruit a part time HR Assistant (Academics) for an 8 month Maternity Cover. This post reports to the Head of HR and will deal with all aspects of Academic recruitment, right to work (including Visa administration) and other generalist employment matters.The successful applicant will display excellent interpersonal, organisation and communication skills. They will have experience of working within immigration services or working for HR at a HEI and have experience of interpreting Immigration Rules.
For an exceptional assistant we are prepared to train the applicant in immigration matters as required.The post is part time 22 hours per week (Monday and Friday working essential plus one other day) and the salary range is on grade 5 of the College Pay Scale £17,575 to £22,439 (£29,959 to £38,249 FTE) plus Oxford University Weighting Allowance £880 (£1,500 FTE).Full details of the post, its conditions and the application process are set out in the further particulars.The closing date for applications is Friday 28 March 2025.Applications are particularly welcome from Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic candidates.Magdalen College is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
