East Midlands Airport has an exciting brand-new role for a dynamic technical trainer to join the training department to coordinate and oversee the training and exercise programmes for the Incident Management structure at the East Midlands Airport.

This is an opportunity to work in a new training facility with state‑of‑the‑art equipment to deliver excellent training packages.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and overseeing the training and exercising programmes for the Incident Management Structure of EMA.
  • Delivering quality incident management training courses.
  • Developing course materials and presentations in line with company standards.
  • Developing and delivering quality assurance programmes.
  • Conducting assurance programme checks and coaching staff delivering training.
  • Creating reports and improvement programmes to ensure best practice.
  • Delivering engaging training and exercise programmes to ensure knowledge retention and excellent colleague engagement.
  • Creating and delivering "new start" colleague training as well as refresher training programmes.
  • Delivering and maintaining a robust quality assurance programme for the Operational and Resilience exercises and training run by all Command and Control and Resilience Departments.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of incident management.
  • Previously created, planned and delivered training packages.
  • Proven ability in developing and maintaining training processes, procedures and documentation.
  • Ability and confidence to deliver training programmes to a wide range of audiences from entry level to director level.
  • Excellent IT skills in all Microsoft packages.
  • Flexible to work, ability to engage with stakeholders around their schedules.
