Reports to Head of Security, Security Team, Customer Service Directorate, London Stansted Airport.
Permanent role. Salary – Grade 4a – MAG Leadership grade. From £50k p.a. Day working, Monday to Friday. Office based, some working from home also available.

The role involves:
- Leading on security related process improvements and business changes.
- Being the subject matter expert to influence stakeholders across the business when introducing new products into the operation.
- Working closely with others to deliver security products and performance improvements in line with the short and long-term business objectives.
- Identifying opportunities to improve Terminal Security efficiency and effectiveness.
- Utilising performance management information to motivate and mobilise the Security Managers / Security Performance Managers and front line teams.
- Tracking and driving important business metrics, proactively identifying trends or risks within data.
- Overseeing the day to day Security Operation.
- Creating, developing and delivering a 12-month operating plan for terminal security.
- Leading and driving business planning activities with the planning team.
- Implementing people change activities into the operational environment.
- Measuring the success of change programmes.
- Deputising for the Head of Security and other operational roles as required.
