About The Role
The Procurement Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting and developing the procurement systems landscape, including SAP Ariba upstream and downstream modules. The role holder will administer the system, continuously improve and enhance functionality to meet the needs of the Group Procurement & Contracts team. Working across teams in Procurement, Finance, the CoE and suppliers, you will support the delivery of the buying route strategy whilst maximising the functionality of existing P&C systems. You will also provide application support and troubleshooting for internal users and suppliers, and contribute to the development of training materials to ensure effective system use.
Qualifications
- Background in procurement and proactive problem‑solver
- Ability to translate procurement needs into system improvements and simplify complex technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, able to work at all levels including senior management
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in SAP Ariba upstream and downstream modules, Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- Flexible and adaptable approach to communicating ideas clearly and effectively
- Experience in data and reporting beneficial (not essential)
