Based at Manchester Airport, this is a permanent, full-time position (36.25 hours per week) with normal office hours (9-5 / 8-4) and hybrid working. Out of hours on-call duties will be required on a 6-week basis.

The role involves supporting MAG’s LAN, WAN, and WiFi infrastructure in a fast-paced, ever-changing 24/7/365 environment. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving our network systems to ensure seamless connectivity across our airports. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and supporting existing network infrastructure
- Responding to and resolving faults, liaising with external support where necessary
- Performing analysis and troubleshooting
- Configuring and deploying network devices
- Playing a key role in network-related projects
- Working within MAG’s change management procedures
We’re looking for an experienced Network Engineer with:
- Strong experience in a Network Engineering role
- Demonstrable competency with Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls
- Experience with corporate WiFi technologies (Aruba experience advantageous)
- Good knowledge of LAN/WAN (Cisco), Wireless (Aruba), routing, switching, VPNs, and firewall configuration
- Familiarity with network management tools such as Cisco DCNM & DNAC
- Cisco qualifications and ITIL/change procedure experience would be advantageous
- Willingness to work hybrid office hours and participate in on-call duties
