About The Role

Join MAG at a pivotal point in our Finance Transformation journey and help shape the future of Finance through a greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation. As Finance Transformation Lead – Reporting and Governance, you will lead the design and delivery of finance processes and governance that underpin reporting, planning, forecasting and decision-making across the business. Working at the heart of the transformation programme, you will partner with Finance, IT, SAP specialists, implementation partners and wider stakeholders to define requirements, improve reporting, strengthen governance and support successful delivery.

You will act as the lead for Reporting and Governance, shaping solution design, testing and process improvements while driving engagement and informed decision-making across the organisation. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence key decisions, manage risk, support compliance and help embed new ways of working across the Finance function.

What Will Make You Successful

As Finance Transformation Lead – Reporting & Governance, you will lead the design and delivery of reporting, governance and control frameworks that underpin effective decision-making across the Group. Working at the heart of the transformation programme, you will partner with Finance, IT, SAP specialists, implementation partners and wider stakeholders to understand current processes, define future-state reporting requirements, and embed robust governance structures that support both business performance and regulatory compliance.

You will be responsible for shaping reporting solutions across SAP S/4HANA, identifying opportunities to improve reporting capability, strengthen controls and enhance the quality, consistency, and accessibility of financial and management information. Through effective stakeholder engagement, you will help translate business requirements into practical solutions that deliver meaningful insight, improve efficiency, and support informed decision-making.

Acting as the reporting and governance lead for the programme, you will drive solution design, testing, documentation and process improvements while ensuring reporting outputs meet statutory, management and operational requirements. You will also champion best practice governance, helping to establish clear standards, controls and ways of working that support sustainable improvements across the Finance function.

This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence key decisions, manage risk, support compliance and help embed new ways of working across the organisation. You will act as a trusted adviser to stakeholders across Finance and the wider business, providing assurance on reporting quality, governance and control effectiveness while driving engagement and understanding throughout the transformation journey.
