The role involves supporting the delivery of Capital projects from GW0 to GW6, working closely with Project Managers to uphold the principle of “The Invisible Builder.” You will be responsible for Construction Delivery, ensuring high standards across HSE, risk management, cost, schedule, and quality. You will collaborate with Capital Delivery colleagues and stakeholders, acting as the key contact for Framework Contractors. You will also promote a strong health and safety culture on site, ensuring contractors meet all required standards and compliance expectations.
Essential experience includes:
- Organisation leadership, delivery through others, influencing without direct control.
- Project development from explore through to project implementation.
- Large and small greenfield and brownfield project delivery in mature assets.
- Degree and/or Post-Graduate qualified or equivalent.
- Professional affiliation (e.g., RICS; APM; CIOB; RIBA, ICE or similar).
- Experience of the construction, test and commission and handover phases of infrastructure projects across the full range of project size and complexity.
- Excellence in project delivery from explore through concept development and project implementation.
