The role involves leading the production, analysis, and interpretation of project and programme reporting at the airport level. This role enables effective decision-making by project and programme managers through insightful reporting and data-driven analysis of cost and schedule performance.
- Own the timely and accurate production of local airport project and programme reports, ensuring alignment with central reporting standards and frameworks.
- Maintain reporting cadence and quality across all active projects and programmes at the airport.
Data Analysis & Insight Generation:
- Analyse cost and schedule data produced by project controls and scheduling teams to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for project and programme managers.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate closely with project managers, programme leads, and the central controls team to ensure reporting meets stakeholder needs.
- Support local leadership with tailored reporting and insights to inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of reporting tools, dashboards, and processes to improve efficiency and impact.
- Share best practices and lessons learned across airport sites to support consistency and uplift in reporting maturity.
Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure reporting outputs comply with internal governance standards and external regulatory requirements where applicable.
- Support audit and assurance activities through provision of accurate and timely reporting data.
What would make you successful in this role?
- Degree or equivalent experience in Project Management, or a related discipline.
- APM / PMI certification (e.g. PMQ, CAPM) or P6 scheduling accreditation ideal.
- Training or qualifications in project controls, delay analysis, or Earned Value Management (EVM) ideal.
- Solid understanding of project and programme reporting within a capital delivery or infrastructure environment.
- Familiarity with cost and schedule performance metrics and how they inform decision-making.
- Awareness of project lifecycle stages and associated reporting requirements.
- Knowledge of reporting frameworks and governance standards used in large-scale programmes.
- Demonstrable experience in project reporting, project controls, or data analysis roles.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to produce and interpret project data.
- Track record of supporting project and programme managers with actionable insights.
- Exposure to working in fast‐paced, delivery‐focused environments with multiple stakeholders.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in reporting and data analysis tools such as Power BI, Excel, and scheduling platforms (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings in a clear, concise format.
- Skilled in developing dashboards and visual reports that support decision‐making.
