The role
This exciting 3 month secondment would suit someone who can co-ordinate all aspects of the Airfield Operations Visual Control Room whilst providing excellent customer service along with excellent communication skills as well as an ability to produce accurate and up to date data.
Duties
- Implementing of stand plan rule management
- Editing of the stand planning rules including managing control of team awareness to any changes
- Reviewing and control of stand planning protocols
- Management of the Stand Planning system
- Management of Chroma Operational reference data and operational procedures
- Daily and monthly reporting of Chroma and other operational data using various tools
- Liaison with Handling Agents on planning processes including Gate management and First Wave templates
- Liaison with Control Agencies for effective passenger flow management in relation to stand allocations – CCC, UKBF, Police, Security etc.
- Liaison with NATS to review daily stats and manage accurate data sharing
- Planning operational restrictions to stands and gates so as to facilitate ad hoc closures as well as planned maintenance including liaison with Projects for longer term planning.
- Building future stand planning templates for operational use.
- Reviewing ACL season schedules and report on expected operational changes to the stand plan.
- Excellent IT skills using business reporting tools such as Chroma BI, Qlikview, MS Excel etc.
What will make you successful in the role?
- Hold a Full UK driving License (essential)
- Competent in the use of business reporting tools (Chroma, Qlikview, MS Excel)
- Current or previous experience in an aviation operational control room
- Current or previous airfield operations working knowledge
- Proficient in RT communications with recent working knowledge
