What’s the role? Reporting to the Head of FP&A, the FP&A Lead will play a critical role in shaping the financial planning, analysis and transformation agenda across CAVU. This role will drive excellence in forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting while supporting strategic decision making through advanced financial modelling and insightful analysis. The FP&A Lead will partner closely with senior stakeholders, including C-suite, to influence business outcomes and ensure financial plans are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. You will take ownership of consolidated financial statements — P&L, balance sheet and cashflow — providing a clear view of financial performance and future trends. A key focus of this role will be to continuously improve processes, tools and models across the FP&A function, driving automation, accuracy, and scalability in financial reporting and planning.
About You
You’ll be an experienced finance professional with a strong FP&A background and a track record of influencing at C-suite level. You’ll bring strategic insight, analytical rigour and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful recommendations. You’ll also be comfortable working across multiple financial statements and have deep technical expertise in financial modelling, scenario analysis and business performance evaluation.
You will also demonstrate:
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
- Advanced Excel and modelling skills, with multi-statement experience (cashflow, P&L, balance sheet).
- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and C-suite executives.
- Experience leading or contributing to finance transformation or process improvement projects.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to data and analysis.
- A relevant professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) is desirable.
