The role is focused on supporting MAG’s Server Infrastructure estate and providing expert 3rd line support to ensure a consistently high-quality service to our customers and colleagues. You’ll operate in a fast-paced, 24/7/365 environment and work as part of a service‑focused team supporting business‑critical infrastructure across the airport operation.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining operational stability, resolving complex incidents, driving continuous improvement and supporting the delivery of resilient and secure infrastructure services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting business-critical systems within a 24/7 operational environment
- Investigating recurring incidents through Problem Management methodologies
- Performing root cause analysis and implementing preventative solutions
- Supporting and maintaining infrastructure platforms and associated services
- Participating in the out-of-hours on‑call rota to provide 24/7 support coverage
- Contributing to service improvements and infrastructure transformation initiatives
- Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to maintain service excellence
We’re looking for someone with extensive experience in a Technical Operations, Infrastructure or similar IT support environment, with a proactive mindset and a passion for delivering reliable technology services. You’ll bring strong troubleshooting capability, the ability to perform under pressure and a willingness to continuously learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
Experience and knowledge required:
- VMware
- Minimum 3 years experience in a 3rd line role
- Endpoint Configuration Manager (ECM / SCCM)
