The role:
- Responsible for the safe transportation of customers and staff both landside and airside.
- Offer a first-class customer experience, helping to make all customers' journeys exceptional.
- Assist customers with luggage, ensuring that items are safely secure on the vehicle.
- Adhere strictly to P.C.V. (passenger carrying vehicle) Law and Regulations and the Road Traffic Act as applies, so that all statutory requirements are met.
- Be up to date with current DDA and PCV regulations.
- Report all vehicle defects or any other parking equipment to the Customer Transport Manager on duty to ensure the safety and comfort of the customers.
- Report any suspicious circumstances or damaged vehicles observed whilst on route to the Customer Transport Manager on duty to ensure the safety of passengers and meet the customer service standards expected.
- Prepare written official reports as and when requested in connection with incidents if involved or a witness whilst on duty.
- Report items of lost property as soon as items are found.
- Ensure that vehicles are kept clean throughout.
- Full flexibility is essential as this role covers a 24/7 operation which will include a mix of day and night shifts.
What will make you successful in the role?
- It’s imperative that you have a clean driving licence and held a PCV licence for at least 2 years.
- NVQ level 2 customer service, passenger transport would be advantageous.
- You will hold a valid CPC driver validation card with no outstanding modules.
Please note, we will require you to bring a printout of all your completed CPC modules prior to your interview. Any employment offers are subject to security clearance therefore, a 5-year address history & employment history checks will be carried out, alongside a criminal record check.
