Working within the Airside Operations Team at Stansted Airport. Permanent, Full Time Role (40 hours a week). Office / Hybrid role.

The role:

As an Airside Assurance Manager, you are responsible for maintaining oversight of airside standards. The role involves reviewing aerodrome safety incidents, monthly occurrence data, and investigation reports to identify safety trends and determine effective action plans. The role holder will promote a just safety culture through active engagement with airside stakeholders and support the development of initiatives aimed at reducing operational accidents and incidents. The position also includes assisting the Airside Safety Compliance Manager with audits and inspections to uphold standards and highlight opportunities for improvement. The role holder will also be required to be on call during winter months and will receive an additional payment for these months.

What will make you successful in the role?

Strong, working experience in aviation airside operations and aviation compliance is required. A confident understanding of CAA regulations and how they shape airside standards is essential. Knowledge of airside driving regulations, hands-on expertise in GSE operations, ground handling activities, and working across a variety of aircraft types benefits the candidate. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, proficiency with Microsoft applications, and well-developed analytical abilities further support maintaining and improving airside safety performance.

Please note: Due to the requirements of the role, the successful candidate must have resided in the UK for the last 3 years and hold a clean, valid UK licence.
