For more than 75 years, MAF has been transporting patients, relief workers, produce and medical supplies to the world’s remotest regions and places of deepest human needs - places where flying is not a luxury but a lifeline.
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide services on a contract for services basis during a period of high demand and Microsoft 365 migration activity.
Duration: 6 months
Location: Ashford, Kent with hybrid working options
This hands-on role will focus on 1st and 2nd line support, with additional support across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Hyper-V, Fortigate, VPN, Jira, and Mac OS environments. You will work closely with colleagues in Ashford, Cairns, and other global locations to help maintain smooth day-to-day IT operations. Alignment with MAF International's Christian faith, mission, and values is essential.
Essential:
- Experience providing 1st and 2nd line IT support
- Broad technical capability across end-user support, systems support, networking, and device support
- Experience supporting Windows Server and Hyper-V environments
- Experience working with Microsoft 365 / Office 365
- Strong working knowledge of SharePoint Online
- Ability to support Windows and Mac OS environments
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage varied priorities and work across different locations and time zones
Desirable:
- Experience with Intune
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 migration-related work
- Exposure to Fortigate, cyber security support, or incident response
- Experience in an international, not-for-profit, or mission-driven organisation
- Current right to work in the UK is essential
