The QSHE & Facilities Officer role will support the management team by keeping compliance on the governance agenda and supporting to maintain adherence to:
- legal compliance
- Company Health & Safety policies, processes and standards
- Any acquired industry accreditations (i.e. ISO, BRC etc.)
- Compliance with Food Safety Standards if applicable
- Health & Safety training requirements including delivering training where appropriate and required
- Contractor Control processes
The Facilities aspect of the role will encompass the following:
- Manage external security, catering and cleaning contractors and ensure all legal requirements and safety cadences are met
- Support and manage the MHE fleet with central facilities
- Support all pre-planned maintenance schedule
- Manage all waste streams for the site
- Ensure “know your building folder” is trained out and updated regularly
- Be familiar with and understand in country Health & Safety related legislative requirements.
Experience of working to legislative, industry accreditations and set company standards. Experience of working with various teams to achieve set targets or goals. Experience of carrying out and facilitating audits of compliance and procedural activities (internal and external). Understand the key principles of facilities management (legislative compliance, PPM & PMC programmes). Support, documents and management reports. Manage interaction with multiple departments and 3rd party contractors. Competent with Microsoft Office Packages. Outstanding Organisational Skills.

Experience and skills required:
- Having exceptional knowledge and capability to achieve our safe and legal commitments.
- Maintaining accreditation standards (i.e. ISO, BRC)
- Track KPI’s and provide updates for site management team.
- Striving for continuous personal development
- Track KPIs for supplier and contractor performance including the management of Planned Preventative Maintenance activities.
- Be familiar with the legislation pertaining to the management of suppliers carrying out maintenance and other activities related to property infrastructures
- Monitoring the PPM for the sites
- Completing audits and health checks demonstrating due diligence, finding potential risks and engaging accountable Lead Managers to fix them.
