Static Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) in Manchester

Due to company growth, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Static Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our client, a reputable Facilities Maintenance company based in Manchester. You will be responsible for assisting in the operation, maintenance, and repair for one of Manchester\’s prestigious contemporary office spaces.

Job details

• Conduct emergency lighting installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Carry out PPMs in line with SFG20.
• Perform L8 water monitoring to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Fan coil service and maintenance.
• Service and maintain Air Handling Units (AHUs) and pumps.
• Undertake basic plumbing tasks.
• Conduct BMES interrogations, including control panels.
• Effectively manage subcontractors on site.
• Complete electronic and paper records of all tasks carried out and filed in the site logbooks.

Qualifications / Experience

• Experience working in a similar commercial maintenance environment (Essential).
• Apprentice trained (Desirable).
• Qualified to level 3 as a minimum (NVQ / BTEC / ONC).
• 18th Edition wiring regulations.
• Familiarity with BMES systems and control panels.
• Understanding of basic plumbing principles / HVAC systems.
• Proficiency in using hardware tools and electrical equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

What’s on offer

• Salary : Up to £40,000 (DOE).
• Shift : Monday to Friday 8 : 00am – 16 : 30pm.
