Our client, an international manufacturer who is renowned for its well-known household brands, is currently on the look-out for a Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical bias to join their team. Job details:
- Ensure that preventative and reactive maintenance duties are carried out across the site.
- Be the first point of contact when breakdowns occur.
- Diagnose and resolve issues promptly to minimise downtime.
- Identify and support initiatives to reduce waste and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to co-ordinate repairs and maintenance activities.
- Liaise with the Engineering Team Manager for workload planning and technical support.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Engineering skills obtained by a time served apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3).
- Previous experience within a fast-paced FMCG or food manufacturing environment (Essential).
- Strong fault-finding capabilities.
- PLC fault-finding experience.
- Familiar with packaging lines, drives, conveyors, rotating machinery, pumping equipment and valves.
- Competent in safe working procedures.
