Our client, an international manufacturer renowned for its well-known household brands, is currently looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical bias to join their team. They invest in training and upskilling. You would be joining a settled team where engineers tend to stay long-term. It's a highly automated site with a strong mix of electrical and mechanical work. There is plenty of project work to get involved in, not just day-to-day breakdowns. There is ongoing investment in the site, with opportunities to get stuck into improvement projects.

You would be working across a wide range of equipment - Conveyors, robotics, packaging lines, fillers, drives, flow wrappers, cappers, pumps and valves etc.

  • Ensure that preventative and reactive maintenance duties are carried out across the site.
  • Identify and support initiatives to reduce waste and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to co-ordinate repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Liaise with the Engineering Team Manager for workload planning and technical support.

Requirements:

  • Engineering skills obtained by a time served apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3).
  • Previous experience within a fast-paced FMCG or food manufacturing environment (Essential).
  • PLC fault-finding experience.
  • Familiar with packaging lines, drives, conveyors, rotating machinery, pumping equipment and valves.

Shift: 4 on 4 off (2 days / 2 nights)

Salary: £53,600 (annual pay review)

Overtime available at time and a half

Holiday allowance - 24 days

Pension contribution - Matched up to 8%
