We are currently working with a reputable landscaping contractor in the West London area who is recruiting for an experienced Horticulturalist to join their team on a permanent basis. Successful applicants would help lead the garden maintenance team across some of London’s most beautifully designed private gardens, courtyards, and roof terraces.
The role
This role suits someone with excellent plant knowledge, a meticulous eye for detail, and the confidence to supervise 1–2 junior horticulturists while maintaining exceptional standards on site.
Duties:
- Lead and deliver high-quality garden maintenance
- Work across prestigious, design-led gardens
- Supervise and support junior team members
- Diagnose plant health issues and implement treatments
- Operate tools and machinery safely and professionally
- Provide excellent client-facing service
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in high-end private garden maintenance
- Strong horticultural knowledge and seasonal awareness
- Confident driving and working across London
- Professional, reliable, punctual, consistent and detail-driven
- Confident driving in London with a full UK driving licence
