Madisons Recruitment are recruiting for a Project/Contracts Manager on a permanent basis for a client of ours located in London. You will be joining their growing Highways Division, delivering a range of civil engineering projects across Central and South West London. This is the perfect opportunity for a motivated professional with a solid background in the Highways sector to take the next step in their career. Project Scope

  • Drainage
  • General Civil Engineering
  • Kerbing
  • Footways
  • Road Surfacing

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operational and commercial management of ongoing projects
  • Programme and budget for both new and existing works
  • Contribute to tendering for upcoming contracts
  • Prepare RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements)
  • Plan and manage workloads, budgets, and cost control
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and key stakeholders
  • Ensure all works are delivered to the highest safety and quality standards

Requirements

  • Relevant industry qualifications (e.g. NRSWA Streetworks Supervisor, SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS)
  • Experience using Microsoft Project
  • Strong background in highway works, particularly with local authorities
  • Proven track record as a Contracts or Project Manager
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
