Our client, an international corporate bank with a significant presence in London, is looking to strengthen their finance team by hiring a VP of Finance. This role reports directly to the UK business head and administratively to the global head office. The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with 12 years of experience in the corporate banking sector, with exposure to corporate banking products, UK regulations, taxation laws, and cross-border transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of financial controls and governance for the entity.
- Manage all direct and indirect taxes of the branch, including tax reporting and management.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
- Handle administrative and procurement tasks.
- Manage the general ledger, monitor, and report all sundry account activities.
Key Requirements:
