Our client, a leading international bank with a significant presence in the UK, is looking to hire a Head of Corporate Banking to develop the corporate unit. This role would be ideal for a corporate banking professional with 15 years’ experience in credit structuring, including bilateral, syndicated and structured facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop the corporate unit.
  • Be the key point of contact for clients in the UK and Switzerland while growing new client base and gross selling new products to existing clients.
  • Support the international team on origination activities.
  • Negotiate lending and non-lending transactions, some highly structured, with clients ensuring compliance with Bank’s policies and local laws and regulations.
  • Review terms of facilities, credit reports and legal documentation of clients when invited to participate in facilities to check backgrounds and risk profiles.

Key Requirements:

  • 12-15 years experience in corporate banking.
  • Expert in credit analysis and loan syndication.
  • Sound knowledge of UK regulatory and risk requirements.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance related field. Masters or MBA beneficial.
  • Strong existing relationships with large UK corporates.
