Madison Hunt is partnered with a leading global independent investment bank to hire an Associate to join its London-based Energy team, with a primary focus on the Oil & Gas sector. The successful candidate will be involved in the execution of high-profile M&A, capital markets, and strategic advisory mandates for clients across the upstream, midstream, downstream, and integrated oil & gas value chain, as well as emerging energy transition areas. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, fast-paced team advising corporates, financial sponsors, and institutional investors on complex, high-impact transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of M&A, capital markets, and restructuring transactions.
- Perform detailed financial modelling, valuation, and strategic analysis.
- Prepare client presentations, market insights, and transaction materials.
- Coordinate due diligence processes and assist in managing transaction workstreams.
- Collaborate with global teams to support cross-border mandates and knowledge sharing.
Candidate Requirements:
- 3–5 years of investment banking or related advisory experience, ideally with energy sector exposure.
- Strong technical skills in financial modelling, valuation, and strategic analysis.
- Solid transaction execution experience; exposure to both public and private deals preferred.
