Madison Hunt is partnered with a rapidly scaling international energy transition investment platform to hire an Associate, based in London. The firm has secured significant commitments for its debut fund and is targeting a final close in the near term, with strong backing from leading institutional investors across Europe and North America. The fund takes a value-add investment approach, operating higher up the risk-return spectrum and actively investing in businesses and projects at earlier stages of development. Its focus spans a broad range of energy transition verticals including renewable generation (wind, solar, storage), sustainable infrastructure and energy services. With capital already deployed across multiple markets and a strong pipeline of opportunities, the team is looking to appoint an Associate to play a key role in the execution of new investments. This hire will be integral to supporting the firm’s continued growth across both Europe and North America.
Interested candidates will:
- Be currently sitting in an Associate position within an infrastructure and/or renewable energy private equity fund or investment bank
- Have an in-depth understanding of the infrastructure and/or renewable energy market in Europe with proven deal track record
- Possess an excellent deal execution skill set, including strong modelling abilities
- Hold a business, finance, mathematics (or related) degree from a highly regarded university
- Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management
