A leading developer is seeking a talented Senior Communications Manager to join its Corporate Affairs team. This is a pivotal role supporting the delivery of strategic, high-impact communications across a dynamic and high-profile portfolio.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering integrated communications campaigns that enhance brand reputation, drive engagement, and support ongoing growth. This position offers exposure to major projects, high-profile media opportunities, and large-scale campaigns within a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Communications: Partner with senior stakeholders to design and implement integrated communications strategies that align with wider business goals. Support activity across a broad mix of functions including development, residential, office, retail, leisure, and tourism.
  • Media Relations: Develop and nurture strong relationships with key media contacts to secure impactful coverage. Lead proactive press activity and manage media enquiries with professionalism and responsiveness.
  • Content & Messaging: Produce high-quality, engaging content including press releases, executive briefings, speeches, and thought leadership pieces. Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and brand positioning across all external communications.
  • Agency & Campaign Management: Oversee PR agencies across the UK and internationally, providing clear strategic direction and ensuring delivery against objectives and budgets. Support campaign activity, including influencer engagement, to maximise reach and audience connection.
  • Crisis & Reputation Management: Play a key role in managing reputational risk, supporting crisis communications activity and taking the lead when required. Ensure clear, timely, and effective communication of sensitive issues.
  • Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement: Provide strategic counsel and high-quality briefings to senior leadership for media engagements and key events. Act as a spokesperson when required, representing the business and building relationships with external stakeholders.
