A leading privately-owned real estate investor and developer, with a broad residential and commercial portfolio across London and the South, is undertaking a major systems transformation, migrating onto MRI Horizon. To support the go-live, they are seeking an experienced Data Migration & Systems Implementation Specialist to join on a fixed-term basis.
The Role
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role at the centre of the MRI Horizon implementation. Working closely with the finance and property management teams, as well as the external MRI implementation partner, you will play a critical role in ensuring a clean, accurate migration and a smooth transition to the new system.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Migration & Mapping
- Cleanse and validate legacy property and tenancy data ahead of migration
- Map legacy data fields into the new MRI Horizon schema
- Reconcile migrated data against source systems to confirm accuracy and completeness
- Identify and resolve data quality issues in collaboration with finance and operational teams
- UAT & Testing
- Coordinate and support user acceptance testing cycles across relevant workstreams
- Log, track and manage defects through to resolution
- Liaise closely with the MRI implementation team to align on fixes and sign-off
- Support development of test scripts and documentation
- Go-Live & Post Go-Live Support
- Support data validation and integrity checks through cutover
- Monitor system performance and resolve issues arising post go-live
- Provide hypercare support to end users during early adoption
- Feed lessons learned into ongoing process improvement
- Reporting & Coordination
- Provide ad hoc reporting to support the wider Horizon programme
- Act as a coordination point between finance, operations and the implementation partner
- Maintain clear documentation across the migration and testing process
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience on a data migration and/or systems implementation project, ideally within property or another data-intensive sector
- Direct experience with MRI Horizon highly advantageous; strong experience with a comparable property/finance system (Yardi, Qube etc.) also of real interest
- Strong Excel skills and a methodical, detail-focused approach to data
- Experience supporting or coordinating UAT cycles
- Comfortable working to a defined project timeline in a fast-paced environment
- Available for an immediate start
