Our client, a leading business in the property and logistics real estate space, is seeking an HR PMO to join their London-based HR team. This is a newly created position with the scope to make a real, strategic impact on the evolution of people operations across the business.

In this key role, you’ll lead the HR PMO and act as a central connector across People initiatives—from policy and process improvement to major HR programmes and tech enhancements. You’ll oversee budget management, HR data and systems, and partner with stakeholders to embed operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement. With the support of a People Data and Insights Lead, who reports into this role, you will also oversee reporting and insight-driven people decision-making.

  • Programme & Project Management
  • Lead the HR PMO, maintaining a clear view of all People-related initiatives and budgets
  • Manage cross-functional People projects including performance and reward cycles, talent reviews, benefits renewals, and tech/process upgrades
  • Define project scopes, coordinate teams, and drive execution against timelines and objectives
  • Embed learning through post-project reviews and lead on continuous enhancements
  • HR Process & Policy Leadership
  • Oversee existing HR policies, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance
  • Build a framework and roadmap for policy/process improvement and operational excellence
  • Act as a point of escalation and guidance for the HR team on process roles and responsibilities
  • Chair regular HR operational alignment meetings
  • HR Systems & Technology
  • Oversee HR tech platforms and data tools, identifying opportunities for enhancement and transformation
  • Partner with internal teams to build and implement an HR tech change roadmap
  • Manage business-as-usual and continuous improvements in HR systems
  • Data & Insight
  • Ensure high standards of people data quality, reporting, and actionable insight
  • Support the delivery of clear and strategic dashboards and presentations for senior stakeholders
  • Risk & Compliance
  • Lead HR risk and audit processes, ensuring compliance with GDPR and legislative requirements
  • Partner with HRBPs to stay ahead of policy and regulatory changes
