As we enter the next stage of our growth, we are seeking an exceptional CEO to lead the business.

Working closely with our Executive Chairman and Board, you will have full executive responsibility for the leadership, performance and continued development of Madison Brook.

The Opportunity

The CEO will assume responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the business, ensuring operational excellence whilst delivering sustainable, profitable growth.

You will be empowered to make decisions, strengthen our culture and develop the next generation of leaders.

The Executive Chairman will focus on long-term strategy, investment, governance and major stakeholder relationships, allowing you the autonomy to lead the business and execute the agreed strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities

You will

  • Lead the overall performance of the company, taking full accountability for operational delivery and financial performance.
  • Deliver sustainable revenue and profit growth through disciplined commercial leadership.
  • Develop and execute the business plan agreed with the Board.
  • Build, mentor and develop a high-performing leadership team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Strengthen operational systems, governance and reporting to support continued growth.
  • Identify new commercial opportunities across the public and private sectors.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, local authorities, partners and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure the business continues to deliver exceptional client outcomes while maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards.
  • Provide regular reporting to the Board on performance, opportunities and strategic risks.
  • Champion innovation, operational efficiency and service excellence across every part of the business.

About You

You are an experienced business leader who enjoys building organisations, developing people and delivering measurable growth.

You are commercially astute, operationally strong and understand how to balance entrepreneurial thinking with disciplined execution.

Most importantly, you lead with integrity and understand that culture is one of the greatest drivers of long-term success.

  • You will likely have
  • Experience leading a business or significant division with annual revenues between £10 and £20 million.
  • Full profit and loss responsibility.
  • A demonstrable track record of growing revenue, improving profitability and scaling operations.
  • Experience building and leading senior management teams.
  • Excellent commercial, financial and strategic decision making skills.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A leadership style that combines accountability with coaching and development.
  • Experience working in property, construction, facilities management, housing, infrastructure, regeneration or another related sector would be advantageous, although exceptional leaders from comparable environments will also be considered.
